What is overdialling?
Overdialling happens if a phoneword is longer than the underlying phone number. For example, 1300 is advertised, but the underlying number is six digits long. Callers may overdial because the phoneword translates to eight digits.
While overdialling can be handled by the majority of networks, there are technical problems that could prevent the call being connected from some carriers. This issue ONLY affect overdial numbers. Call for more details. |
